Pinnacle Integrity has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the Office of Local Government as conduct reviewers, (pursuant to clause 6.2(b) of the Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW).
Our Local Government investigation specialists have conducted scores of investigations for Local Council’s throughout NSW, in rural, regional, and metropolitan NSW over a 20-year period. These investigations have related variously to the Local Government Act 1993, Local Government (General) Regulation 2005, Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994 (NSW), Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979; Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, and a range of other Acts and policies.
We have assisted General Manager’s, HR Directors, and Audit and Risk managers, with all manner of investigations, from basic and mid-level code of conduct matters including fraud and theft, harassment, conflict of interest and improper conduct, as well as safety investigations, through to complex and sensitive corruption and abuse of authority matters. Our investigations have at times, been overseen by the ICAC, and our independent reports have been regularly affirmed and praised at various industrial jurisdictions, including the IRC. At times, we have been required to re-investigate matters previously investigated by other service providers.
